After graduating, Vamsi Krishna decided to pursue higher education. He, along with his colleagues, chose a small town in Punjab and began to teach needy children. Seven out of 11 students have been selected for higher IIT.

Then, Vamsi and 3 other IITian friends started the 'Lakshya' Education business. This program aims to train students in various tests. While working on ‘Lakshya’ they realized that the Indian Education sector needs more development, it needs skilled teachers and a network that can connect students and teachers even from faraway places. Six years later (in 2012), 'Lakshya' was acquired by MTEducare.

In the same year (2014) he founded the 'Vedantu' with his three IITian friends (Pulkit Jain, Saurabh Saxena, Anand Prakash). Vedantu is India's leading online teaching company that enables students to learn live with teachers. The word 'Vedantu' is made up of two Sanskrit words: Veda (Information) + Tantu (Network), Vedantu means 'Information Network' which gives students access to the teacher whenever and wherever they like. Helps live training classes for students in grades 6 to 12. The forum is also dedicated to training several tests such as JEE, NEET, NTSE .etc.
